Individual Therapy

Figuring out who you are, whether that’s culturally, racially, professionally, or relationally, is hard. It becomes even harder when you’re stuck between the expectations you grew up with and the actual life you want for yourself.

I work with BIPOC adults who have spent years navigating family and cultural pressures around career, relationships, and identity. My work is to help you find who you are underneath all the versions of yourself you've had to be, so you can step into the version that feels right for you. The version that allows your nervous system to exhale.

We'll start with a 90-minute intake, where I'll gather information about the key players in your life, how you were raised, and what’s showing up for you now that’s no longer working. From there, we'll meet weekly for 60-minute sessions to get curious about patterns of behavior: how they started, what they are protecting you from, and how they might still be quietly (or quite loudly) running your life.

I offer case consultation for therapists working through identity, cultural, and family of origin work with their own clients, especially where BIPOC identity intersects with intergenerational expectation, acculturation stress, and belonging.

My approach draws on a psychodynamic and culturally informed lens, looking beneath presenting symptoms to the deeper relational and generational patterns at play, all within the cultural context that shaped them.
